The Anglebury has survived for some 450 years...
...and we hope that to continue to make those who come and stay with us both a part of its history, as well as allowing it to find a special place in your heart.
As did Lawrence of Arabia and Thomas Hardy who both spent many a happy hour drinking coffee in our coffee shop. Lawrence also lived in the building for sometime with the then owner. Whatever your requirement or special needs Jane Andrew & Sharon will be only too pleased to help you fulfil them.

The Anglebury can offer facilities for birthday's anniversaries, outside catering and special functions.
Wareham itself is the medieval market town of Purbeck and still benefits from a close knit and happy community, and is a little like stepping back in time.
Helping you instantly feel relaxed with its slower pace of life. Used by many as a base for walking the purbeck hills and coastline and visiting other local places like Corfe Castle Monkey World and the Tank museum to name just a few.
